Eleven Faced Rudraksha
THE BEAD
Eleven Faced Rudraksha represents eleven rudra roops. In other words, it is said to represent eleven lord shiva's in one bead, one each in every face of the bead. This bead is considered to be very beneficial for the wearer.
The dhaaran (ceremonious wearing) of this bead stimulates and regulates all our indriyas or senses. It is said to be highly beneficial specially in yog sadhana and meditation. This bead is to be dhaaran only in the shikha (hair ) at the top of the head. The wearing of this bead transforms the wearer into a highly religious, spiritual and meditating yogi moving on the path of moksha.
This bead is also representative of lord Indra. Wearing this bead pleases lord indra the result of which is lot of praise, name and fame comes to the wearer.
It is said in our shaastras, that the punya that one gets on donating 100 thousand (sahesra) cows together is the punya one can attain automatically by just wearing this bead. The wearer is also immediately blessed with punya phal that is otherwise only available on completion of 1 thousand ashwamedh yagyas or 100 vaajpeyi yagyas.
As per padampuran, the wearer of this bead becomes like lord shiva in this world and on his death escapes from the cycle of rebirth.
