Nine Faced Rudraksha
THE BEAD
NINE FACED RUDRAKSH is the representation of Bhairav dev. As per rudrakshajabalopnishad, the nine faces of the rudraksh are home to the nine shaktiyan (represented by nine goddesses) of this world. It thus represents the nine goddesses. The dhaaran of this bead pleases all the nine goddesses.
As per Shrimadhevibhagwat and padampuran, this bead is the home of Bhairav dev. This bead is worshipped by the devs in devlok.
Some shaastras call this bead the representation of the rudra roop of lord shiva. This is so because the bead is home to bhairav dev or kaal-bhairav, who along with yamraaj is an essential part of lord shiva's powers of taking away life.
This bead is also know as kapil ( agni-rang-swaroop) .
As per shaastras, this bead is therefore representative of bhairav-dev, naun shatiyaan and nav grehs.
THE POSITIVES
- The wearer of this bead enjoys both materilaistic and spiritual gains.
- Both yamraaj and bhairav dev are known as kaal or kaal dev. As per shaastras, even yamraaj is said to be represented by this bead. By wearing this bead, the wearer pleases both the kaal devs and never faces the threat of akaal-mritya or untimely death. The wearer also looses all fear of yamraaj.
- The wearer is immune to the obstructions created by nav grehs. He enjoys the blessings of nav- grehs, and gets positive energy from them.
- The bead is ruled and governed by Ketu. The bead neutralises the negative effects of Ketu and conveys the blessings of the planet to the wearer.
- This bead even neutralises the sins accumulated by numerous brahman killings.
