Types of Rudraksha
The Rudraksh bead has clefts running across its surface. These clefts are known as 'Mukh' or 'Mukhi'. The number of Mukhis a Rudraksh has plays a very important role in determining the positive influence it can have on the bearer. The Rudraksh bead is known to have single Mukh or mukhi to 21 mukh's. But for astrological purposes, ek mukhi (one faced) to chaudah mukhi ( fourteen faced) have more significance.
The most common by far is the five-faced bead, followed by the four
and six-faced. Rare variations are the "Gauri Shankar", a double-joined
bead, and the "Brahma-Vishnu-Maheshwara", a triple-joined bead. These
are highly prized but rarely found, and fetch a high price.
Single-faced Rudraksh are the most valuable and extremely rare. They
are kept as family or spiritual heirlooms and are often encased in gold.

One
Faced Rudraksh is representative of Lord Shiva. As per Hindu
religion, the biggest sin of all is Brahm Hatya or
