THE BEAD
SEVEN FACED RUDRAKSH is ruled by seven Mother Goddesses. Sun and the constellation saptrishi is also said to be the ruling forces of this bead. It is also know as anang (kaamdev), mahasen (general in lord kartikeya's army), anant (vasuki) and naagraat (naagraaj).
Naagraaj is dear to Lord shiva. Therefore the wearer of this bead also enjoys the love and blessings of lord shiva.
As per padampurana , the seven faces of this bead are home to seven powerful naag's (snakes), namely anant, karkat, pundrik, takshak, visholaban, karosh and shankhchud. This makes the wearer of this bead immune from any kind of venom.
