THE BEAD
As per shrimadhevibhagwat, Ten Faced Rudraksh represents Lord Vishnu. Nirnaysindhu and mantramaharnav also describe the bead to be janardhan (vishnu ) swaroop. The wearing of this bead removes the fear of greh , pishach, vetaal , brahmarakshas , snake etc and eliminates any obstructions that may be caused due to them. It also eliminates all bhoot - pret related problems.
As per rudrakshjabalopinishad, the ten faced rudraksh represents yamdev and wearing it brings a lot of solace and peace to the wearer.
As per shaastras, the ten faced rudraksh represents a large number of dev - devta's and therefore it is considered one of the most power bearing among all the rudraksh beads. The wearing of this rudraksh pacifies the nav-grehs and makes them shower their positive influence on the wearer.
It is very important to note here that because of its magical powers and large representation of devs the Ten Faced Rudraksh is above the power and influence of any of the nine planets or grehs. Therefore, it is NOT ruled or governed by any planet.
